30-Day Easy Returns

We want you to feel confident in your purchase. If you need to return your item, we’ve made the process simple. We know sometimes things change - we get it - and that’s why we provide a fair and easy return policy.

30-Day Return Window

We accept returns within 30 days of purchase. The 30-day period begins from the date and time your order was placed, not the date it was delivered.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return:

  • The journal may be opened and briefly tried.
  • The journal must not be excessively used, damaged, or altered.
  • You must contact us at hello@memoirsbyhim.com within the 30-day window to start the return process.
  • We will identify you by your order number, name, and email, so this information must be included in your return request.

How the Return Works

  1. Contact us within 30 days of purchase to request a return. Provide your name, order number, and email used to make the purchase.
  2. We may ask for a quick photo of the journal so we can confirm its condition.
  3. Once approved, we will send you an Australia Post return barcode.
  4. Place the item in your own secure packaging and take the barcode to any Australia Post branch and present it at the counter.

The barcode means no printing is required, making the return quick and simple.

Posting Your Return

The item must be lodged and scanned at an Australia Post branch within 7 days from the date we provide you with the return barcode.

Refunds

Once the returned item has been received and inspected, we will process your refund, usually within 5 business days. The full purchase amount will be refunded less a $15 return shipping fee, which helps cover postage and restocking costs.

Refunds will always be issued to the original payment method used at checkout. If this is not possible for any reason, please let us know beforehand. If the reason is valid, we will work with you to find a reasonable alternative.

Important

We reserve the right to decline a refund if the conditions of this policy are not met. This includes items that are:

• Excessively used
• Damaged or altered
• Returned outside the required timeframes

This is why it is always best to let us know beforehand if there is any issue with the packaging or product so we can work with you to find a fair solution.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. Contact us immediately at hello@memoirsbyhim.com if an item is defective, damaged or incorrect. We will evaluate the issue and aim to resolve it promptly in accordance with your consumer rights.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

This Refund Policy applies in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
